Hanoi is a metropolis in Vietnam with an old town centre and the narrow streets of the French colonial era. Every visitor to Hanoi in Vietnam has a different story to tell, but one thing is for certain: the city will never leave their mind. In my memory, I can see all of the city's historic buildings, streets, monuments and the maze of motorbikes and taxis that might lead any first time visitor to a panic attack.
Coming back after years living abroad is always an emotional experience for me. I miss the familiar sights of my city as well as the good times I had exploring it with friends.
Being able to walk out of the door onto a tree-lined street with a traditional Vietnamese coffee shop is the feeling I will never forget .
Walking through the city of Hanoi, you can easily get people on the streets smile at you and greet you with a nod. A feeling of serene happiness comes over you as you observe some children playing in the park. Suddenly, this place is all about peace.
Hanoi in my heart is a beautiful and welcoming city. With a blend of old traditions and modernity, there is always so much to do in the ancient capital. The food scene is delicious, the parties are wild, the views are absolutely breath-taking, and the streets are always crowded with bikes, scooters, and people on foot; it's a perfect place to get lost in the chaos of daily life.
A bustling night market is a central hub for locals and tourists alike. The Old Quarter's Hang Gai Street Night Market is home to more than one hundred shops and street side vendors that open around dusk. The people of the night market are diverse with vendors selling everything from tourist trinkets to inexpensive clothing. Visitors can have a meal at one of the many restaurants or stop by a sidewalk vendor for some traditional Vietnamese street food.
No matter what, Hanoi always holds a special place in my heart, it's the sense of belonging. I hope my post could bring my dear city a little bit closer to you and who knows, we might have chance to meet in Hanoi one day. Thank you so much for reading !
