Fine Nova Scotia Weather Today

The winter jackets stayed home for this trek, though @kiedisbowes strangely enough found some ice and played the throw-the-ice-in-the-puddle game.

The mossy rocks you see were possibly a foundation of some kind, long long ago? Or an animal enclosure? What do you think?

Peggy of the Cove: A storyteller named Ivan runs the place, closed for the winter, not a soul in sight.

It's funny, when I was crouching to get the close up pics Stryder started giving me a hard time from further along the trail, he was accusing me of sitting down on our hike LOL!

What a silly dude. He was running around so crazy that his sweater got ditched, and by the end of it I was holding Eddie's sweater. Hey, what else are Moms for?

On our way out I spotted 2 large birds...

Of course I didn't bring my zoom lens haha.

I zoomed in on a couple of the pictures but it's really hard for me to tell if these are eagles, hawks or turkey vultures...maybe you know?

Here's a couple silhouettes I found on duckduckgo...I still can't identify my birds.

Of course we watch, what else do you do in the boonies? A strange vehicle pulling into a neighbour's driveway is an immediate phone call to them, and gossip for weeks 😇
