As all of you know, I blog about real-life events. The types of meals I eat, the creative stuff I do, but today, see today I wanted to talk about everyone but myself, so....
When I first met Grace, it was out of this internship. I had officially met her at this drinking game that young professional caf茅 hosted. I remember us playing an icebreaker game where the host would mention really uncomfortable life-events and if you experienced that, you were obliged to take a step forward. Grace almost stepped forward the entire game!
I remember thinking "damn, this girl is messed up" , because ultimately she met with a lot of bad fate in her life. 馃挃
When I registered for the internship and we saw each other we started talking and we ended up in certain groups together. I've experienced Grace as such a nice, warm, loving, healing, caring and driven young woman.
Throughout this whole internship she asked if she coud help me with anything or if I was done with something, she even sent me a reminder for our weekly meetings as I was so busy with my own projects as freelancer and creative writer.
She really was my right hand. 馃枑
One day we were on a mission to finish shooting our tiktok videos for the annual Social media conference in Suriname. She dropped by and we had great conversations, laughs and I even made them my famous fried rice.
Grace, a name that fits her ever so perfectly.
'courteous good will'
Grace, if you're reading this, stay as amazing, kind, loving, helpful and great as you are. 鉂わ笍
The truth is that we could use many more of you and I was one of the lucky ones to have been able to work side by side with you! 馃槝
