Coming out of a lengthy meeting on a Friday night, my officemates and I went for some tapas and wine degustation at Barcino in Burgos Circle, Bonifacio Global City. We were seated in minutes and immediately got our complimentary bread while waiting for our wine to chill.
They have a 50%off nightcap promo on Sangria from Sundays to Thursdays at 10PM onwards for only Php534 and we got curious about that so we ordered a pitcher of Sangria too.
The Tapas Menu

Our first order, Patatas Bravas arrived just about when we were having our Sangria. Its cheesy goodness disappeared from the table in minutes and we paired it with our pitcher of Sangria.
The Jamon de Serrano Bocadillos was highly recommended and it didn't disappoint. A replica of the actual ham leg from which it was sliced out of was on display. You can also get only the ham slices without the baguette for Php380. I wonder how long it was cured. It was a bit salty, melt-in-you-mouth tasty with a sip of white wine.

We also ordered chicken or their Pollo Al Ajillo (Php390) but I think that's one of their main dishes. It was a bit bland for me but I had just devoured the ham slices so I couldn't really say for sure. I liked the Jamon de Serrano much better but it was pricey indeed! We ended up having two of the Jamon. The Barcino folks were generous and gave us an extra serving of complimentary bread after we joked around about it.

The Wine Menu
I am not a wine expert but I enjoy a sip of Rosé every so often in the comfort of my home while watching a koreanovela after the kids are tucked into bed.
We chose semi-sweet vino from their menu. Truthfully, we just chose anything below Php700 that had the word sweet in the description, haha. We tried out the Dry Semi Sweet White Wine and afterwards, a deep red Cabernet Sauvignon. I think I liked the Sangria a whole lot better with the tiny apple slices.

The Ambience
Barcino is pretty pricey but the over-all atmosphere of the Spanish themed winery/ bar was relaxing and helped us chill after a long and winding work week.
They closed after 3 AM and just by then we have had our fill of tapas, vino and good conversation.

Barcino in Bonifacio Global City is right across The Mind Museum and is near Burgos Circle.
