This is Sarawak's very own three layer tea. Tea with milk mixed with sweetened wheatgrass. Green, white and brownish orange. Looks like a flag of a country.
Fried yam cake. There is some beancurd sprout, fried yam and egg. A perfect combination.
The food court
The open air food court. The typical food court that you can find here in Miri, Sarawak. These are the best places to eat. Street food. Nothing beats the taste of food that is made to order. You just walk to the stall, order and the chef makes it in front of you. It's quite enjoyable to see noodles being made in front of me.
Ordering from this stall
This stall has fried noodles, yam cake and many others. Ordered yam cake.
Most of the noodles here cost around RM 6 or around USD 1.50
Quite affordable. Inflation luckily hasn't hit much. Food is still affordable.

The waiting for the food process is usually quite fun. You feel quite hungry and you know that at any moment, food is going to be served. The only thing is when? Does it taste good?

In Miri, food is found everywhere, so you'll not be too far away from a food stall or restaurant as you walk around town.
