Sushi King bonanza

What's a sushi bonanza? 🍣🍣🍣It's the time when all prices regardless of what plate you grab from the conveyor are at RM 3 or USD 70 cents. It's like a buffet. Sushi King's bonanza is usually held every other month. I guess this is their strategy to have customers come. Why waste on advertisement when prices could be lowered to have customers spread the word instead.
We are around 17 plates.
Sushi
One of their limited dish that was only available during this promo was the fried little fritters on the left. The first thing I usually get from the conveyor is the Salmon Ngiri ( Salmon with rice).
Sushi King
If you do come to Malaysia, do try out the sushi at Sushi King. Borders are opened to tourist. Maybe, when I am free, I will write a rough procedure of how to enter Sarawak and Malaysia as a tourist and what requirements are needed.
The bald one
is the manager. Walked in with my wife and got ourselves table 20. The waitress there usually designates the seat.
SALMON NGIRI
Delicious. Dip it in wasabi kikoman sauce mix and you've created a bombastic brain pain due to the contact of the TRPA1 receptor. But you'll go for more. It's dopamine plus experience = pleasurable addiction.
Chuka Idako
Octopus. Chewy. These are usually imported. Purple plates are expensive plates at Sushi King.
If all plates at the Bonanza cost RM 3 / USD 71 cents, it does make sense to keep getting those plates that are usually priced at RM 6.36 / USD 1.51.
Delicious finger licking good.
That mayo sushi is one of my favourite too. It is on a purple plate too. Anything on the purple plate is delicious.
The limited edition fried potato?
I forgot what this is called and if it's even Japanese. Malaysia tends to be an innovator in food. Any food in the world, if it comes to Malaysia, these is a way for Malaysian chefs to make it sound and look Malaysian.
HANA MAKI
Salmon with mayo. My favourite too. So creamy..
Surumi Scallops
Mollusks, anyone? These are delicious.
CKT Maki
Not sure what CKT means but that's what's written on their menu. Delicious cheese layered on top of the sushi roll.

This is what we love to eat too. There are occasions where we go to Sushi King for 3 out of 4 days of the bonanza to just eat one particular dish. One of those time, we got ourselves a lot prawn tempuras.
CHUKA IDAKO
Chewy. I would not eat this raw.
