Canada Hill - The place now currently popular for hikers. At night, this place is said to be haunted with spirits from the past. During World War 2, many were killed here. Japanese tunnels can still be seen till today.

SHELL TOWER

It is also a hotel, boutique and shopping complex. The location of this building is going to be a couple of minutes drive from my house.

So what is being removed?

COURTS MAMMOTH

The complex where most of the locals here get their furnitures, electronics and other home related stuff. It has been here for a couple of decades. It is sad to see it go so before it leaves, I went there to take some photos.

Some electronic gadgets were on sale here. Fridges. Many things were already either sold off or already moved.

Warehouse design

The minimalist warehouse design increases space and variety

Not many furnitures were left. This is going to be a huge place to demolish before building the new tower. It is quite scary sometimes to suddenly see so many new tall buildings being built around the city. Super highways, tall skyscrapers being built.

Phones were displayed here

This was their electronics department. It's a pity that I did not take many photos of this place when everything was still intact, if not I would have a before and after comparison.

Home cleaning gadgets

I love getting vacuums. Makes work much easier and the house a lot cleaner. In Malaysia, we don't wear shoes into the house so it is much more comfortable to walk on clean floors.

Yellow theme

Some ovens left for sale. I prefer air fryers. hahaa..

This used to be where they displayed beds, mattresses and wardrobes. It's now dark. Nothing left here.

There was also a car dealership here. Mitsubishi was here but they have moved. In a year or two, an 18 storey building is going up. I guess, I am one of those only ones who would actually take pictures of these places to curate for future viewing.
