Hi hi.. I hope that your having a great Saturday. Century egg, salted egg, frozen oysters, cockles are some of the items you would find in this supermarket. This is one of my favourite non wallet friendly places to shop out there for your grocery needs.

These is one of the most commonly eaten cockles / clam found here in the city. I don't really eat much because most of these cockles have sand residue in their shell. I Kg is about USD 4
Caught by the fisherman and placed here for customers to buy. One of the most expensive food out there. Over the border, in Brunei, Seafood is much more cheaper.
Pinkish and fresh, these squids cost around 8 USD / KG.

Grapes imported from the USA
Malaysia doesn't grow its own grapes due to the tropical weather. So most of the grapes here are imported.
One long frozen fridge
I found this to be quite impressive to look at. There are two rows of fridges opposite of each other. One side is packed with frozen meat and the other with desserts. Mostly imported. This supermarket imports a lot of food.
This side of the fridge is packed with imported desserts. Lots and lots of it. From Japanese ice cream to chocolate cakes.
Fresh Salmon sold in vacuum packs retails for around USD 2.50.
I guess, this type of Tuna is usually bought by the Sushi restaurants in the city here. Made into Sushi. Looks like a brick of chewing gum.
Frozen oysters
Frozen oysters - I don't really like to eat fresh oysters. I've tried them in Singapore. Not my thing. I preferred cooked oysters.
Cheese - one of my favourite add ons to food. Makes it more chewy creamy and super duper delicious.
These milk are produced from a Farm in Sabah, Malaysia at an attitude of more than 2000 metres above sea level. Next time, I will share a post on what this farm looks like. So if you want to visit the farm, you can do so in the future. One of my favourite purchases in any supermarket.
Pepsi no sugar version
Raspberry pepsi, the original pepsi, lemon pepsi, recently there is the mango pepsi at about 60 cents USD for a 1.5 ltr bottle during promotions.
Jelly made of a type of grass that is usually mixed with milk and eaten as a type of dessert.
Canned Barley
Locally manufactured White Pearl barley.
Have you seen Longans before?
Small little eggs. As compared to the normal chicken eggs.

Usually added to porridge.
The century egg
These are not a century old but they are just called that. They are the preserved duck egg. They are dark eggs. Have you eaten the duck egg? Would you want to try one?
