Hi hi.. Happy Thursday. I've got a big head and I am a tiny planet. I recently bought a new camera. Will be doing an unboxing post soon. I sold off my GoPro Hero Black 9 and wanted to try out something new. I saw the Insta X3 ad and thought, this is what I want. Initially, I thought of getting its predecessor but that's what I did for the GoPro Hero 9 when the 10 was gonna be out. So I kept some cash and just thought of upgrading.
So what's the result from this camera?
A tiny planet
I did not have the whole video in tiny planet mode or else it would look rather peculiar. I've seen some videos where the whole video uses that mode for 360 videos and I don't get to see most of the details.
It is just so cool to have a camera that you can use without thinking much of where your framing things. When I hit the record button, this camera basically records everything. Then I just need to get into the app and reframe the whole thing to the angle that I want to look at.
Coco Cabana
The first video I recorded using this camera. I am still waiting for some of the protective accessories. The only danger is that there are two bulging lens that if you accidentally drop the camera, there is a risk of scratching it. But there is the lens guard for that. Every photo here was from this camera.
The huge wife field of view
One thing I think makes a video great to watch is the wide field of view. The view where you can basically see everything around you.
The beach
The sun at this point of time was about to set. This is what it looks like. Sitting there, we brought our tortoise with us for a walk. Us = my wife and I. It's not hot at this point of time.
Wow. Just look at how green those grass look as the sun's light beams on them.
It's great that camera technology has evolved so much in the last decade. I still remember a long time ago when I had this interest of making videos but the camera technology wasn't there yet. Shaky footage, noisy shots and low resolution. Now most cameras are super great. Then the other best thing is that I can share it on Asean Hive and this post may be here for a long time.
Some ten years ago, I bought my first action camera and it was the SJCAM M20. It wasn't easy to mount at all. Then I had to have that waterproof case on the outside just to mount the camera. Then there was this one problem. The audio sounded really bad whenever the camera was in that waterproof case. Now, it's all waterproof, easy to mount, high resolution, stabilized.
Just to give you an idea of what that type of footage looks like.
If there is anything you want to ask about cameras, especially action cameras, you can always ask me. If I know the answer, I will definitely give you an answer.
Have a great day. Really appreciate it for you to read this.
