Kuala Lumpur to Miri, Sarawak
A two-hour flight. It feels like a long time since I left Malaysia.
I arrived at Kuala Lumpur Terminal 1. There are two terminals, and this one is for the different international airlines that land at this airport. The international flights is at a faraway building, and you have to take the bus there.
I booked a flight with Malaysia Airlines.
The best thing as I head to the gate is to look at the parked planes. This is one of the biggest airports in the world, and you need to get here three hours before the flight.
The luggage being loaded onto the plane.
I bought some banana cakes to bring back for tomorrow's breakfast.
The aerobridge leading into the plane. A smooth transition into the plane.
The clean interiors of the airplane. Meals are complimentary as well as you can choose your own seat before getting the boarding pass.
There is plenty of leg room and space. Malaysia airlines once upon a time used to be one of the top airlines until some mishaps happend like the MH 370 and MH 17 aviation disasters.
The food tray table.
There is also a USB charger here.
Only allowed to charge after the plane is above a certain altitude.
Nasi Lemak Ayam Rendang
Served hot. The chicken is delicious.
The lights dim as the plane is at a certain altitude.
The next post is going to be back in Miri and post about Miri. It has been a while since I last wrote about Sarawak.
