Hello.. Aloha.. It's a Sunday again. It's currently 9:47 A.M. I am bringing you on a tour from above of one of my favourite places in the city.
TANJONG LOBANG BEACH
Along the beach, are these three tall condominiums. This area is a fly with authorization zone. So I need to send an authorization to unlock before taking off my drone. There are restaurants, stalls and a scenic view here in this area. Families come here to enjoy the day.

Imaging staying at the penthouse, looking out the window. South China Sea is huge and from that beach, you will be looking at an unending horizon. Somewhere a couple of kilometres offshore are vessels and oil rigs.
How much to own a unit here? Roughly a million ringgit or USD 250 K. I still prefer landed homes. Maybe renting here for a month would get the same experience as buying a home here.
Marriot Hotel Miri
On the right of these condominiums is Marriot hotel and resort. Most international tourist love staying here.
There are lots of green in Miri city. The local municipal here loves the greenery. Being in one of the wettest states in Malaysia, plants here grow like there is no tomorrow.
There is a hiking trail here that I have yet to explore. One of the things to be wary about when going on a hiking trip here is to make sure that the tides are not too high.
That blue building below is the food court and a supermarket.
This roads go all along the beach, so if you do drive here, you will be accompanied by the beach side all the time.
Different eateries
There is KFC, Pizza Hut, Sushi cafe here. There are also lots of stalls here that open at night. Lots of local food to eat.
The empty road at the right time
The cars have no disappeared. At this moment, there were no cars so this road looks empty. When it's peak time, it is usually full of cars.
There are lots of seafood restaurants on the right side of the roundabout shown above.
The lush green forest. It's great to be living in a city that balances nature with urbanization. This reduces Carbon Dioxide concentration in the atmosphere and with plenty of roads reduces congestion.
Miri city is built next to South China Sea
I still remember when I visited Brisbane, Australia a couple of years ago. That is one city that is also built next to the ocean.
