The guy in the photo is called Matty Roberts, He's the creator of the newest meme that's being beated to dead right now all over the internet.
He had to go public after all the attention his Facebook group got this last 2 weeks and he's now saying that this was all obviously a joke and that you shouldn't really try to Naruto run into Area 51 because you're for sure gonna get killed.
After basically calling off the event, he know says he wants to make this thing a festival and is now selling merchandise and will probably attempt to sell tickets as well...
I don't know, maybe I'm just salty that I won't get to see them aliens but he chickened out and called it quits too soon and now he wants to make a profit out of it.... which I guess it's ok since it was his idea but dang it where are my aliens! Highly disappointed especially since he came out this early, should have waited at least a week before the thing to create more tension and expectations.
