I heard this so many times, that it almost became cliche for me. Do what you are passionate about. If you read amazing book by Simon Sinek called Start with Why you quickly realise that “do what you are passionate about” is “what” and we do not hear often from people saying “why” you actually should do it.
Life is hard. Many of the initiatives which you’re about to start will be hard. It will require discipline, tremendous amount of commitment and in some cases more than 40 hour workweek. For example. The reason why I believe that you need to have a passion for a business which you are about to start, is because it is actually hard to build successful business! There will be so many obstacles and problems, which you do not want to face and tackle. So many hard decisions to make.
Simply put, you are much more likely to give up if you do not feel the passion about the business.
This can be applied to any area of your life. Are you passionate about the picture of you being lean as fuck? If no, how likely are you to succeed to go to the gym and work your ass off 5 times per week?
See, passion is not just a buzz word. It is everything.
If you have it, you do not need inspiring words to do something.
