The Recipe For Living
to know you cannot swim, you must first experience drowning.
to truly know what happiness is, you must cease the frowning.
to know that you're in love, you must not know how to speak
whenever you're around her, cause her presence makes you weak.
to learn how to fly, you must fall a couple times.
to write a cliché poem, you must make a dozen rhymes.
to make all of your dreams come true, you must not stress;
take the time each day to learn how to reach success.
to fail at life, you have to know the biggest secret ever;
instead of taking action, you must stay lazy forever.
this is what i feel is the recipe for living:
whatever you desire, you must first start off by giving.
