Gran paradiso is the name of a Italian mountain placed in the north west, beetweed Piemonte and Valle d'Aosta region.
It's the only mountain over 4000 meters fully in Italy, i mean that is not on borders whit France or Switzerland.

It's one of my best adventures in the mountains.
It has a long approach and a ice wall around 60 degree steel 700 meters hight, then a pretty long ridge part and a neve rending descent. But it's so beautiful and definitively deserves the climb.
