The new generation or one might say, Generation X, Y or Z, things are way different from those who they called boomers. Things that might be normal for the boomer might be looked strange for the new generation or the other way around.
Now with the help of the technologies, things are way convenient for the new generation who master them very well, not like the previous generation who seems lagging behind. let's say about the online viral challenge or viral trends, the older generation might be getting difficulties understanding what is trending lately.
But with those convenience things might turn bad when done in the wrong way. Now the way some sending messages through messaging apps might look a bit awkward. Too many abbreviations and using a lot of emojis.
Understanding emojis might be a bit different from one person to the other person, and sending the wrong emojis to the wrong person can end up so bad, as they will think the other way than what we might be intended to say.
This is what happens to an elementary school girl who sends the wrong emojis to a junior high schoolboy. She sent fisting hand emoji to him which was received as a fighting challenge . after a few chat exchange they agree to meet up. And in this meet-up the girl was beaten quite badly, she has to be sent to the hospital to receive medical treatment.
But really, just because of a chat emoji one can beat up another person? well, maybe these generations are way different from the previous one.
