I, prefer to call it zebra butterfly

A sunny Sunday, today's air temperature is very pleasant, because the situation is neither hot nor cold. I really like the air temperature today because basically I don't like very hot and too cold air.

Feeling a very lucky air towards me, so I got up and took a leisurely walk in every location that was crowded with people, generally in our area there is a very pleasant jogging location, a location that is already well-known among our people. Namely the City-Lhokseumawe Reservoir or to be precise in one of the suburbs of Lhokseumawe called the Pusong Lhokseumawe Aceh Reservoir.

When you are in this location, you will see a lot of biodiversity, one of which is biodiversity and the content in it, and of course you are very interested in one of the flying insects, namely a black brown butterfly resembling a zebra pattern.

I don't know his name, even though I meet him very often, then I searched for his name on a Google search engine, then I got a common name for him which is spoken in Latin in the form of Appias olferna, eastern striped albatross or Bengal albatross.

However, for me, I really like to call it a zebra-patterned butterfly or if it is abbreviated then it is known as a zebra butterfly, this title, I say by naming one of the butterflies that is rarely seen in my area, it is the Peacock butterfly, so on that basis I equate the name of this Butterfly as the name mentioned above.

I really like the pattern on the wings, it has some very beautiful colors, as mentioned above, it has a color pattern resembling the pattern on the zebra's body. The stripes on the wings are one of my favorite motives. Never get tired of seeing it, so capture it with my personal smartphone, and the results are very satisfying, I was able to take a photo of it and have some pictures that I have uploaded in this blog.

However, my opinion is also different from other friends who are on this blog. Of course you also have your own judgment in describing an object. Whereas I put a name based on the characteristics of the object itself, then I speak it in a non-verbal language, as I have said before.

At first, it was very difficult to approach him, because he always detected my every movement in trying this activity, almost several times I failed in that shot, he always shifted from one side to the other.

However, he always focuses on every flower that is blooming while enjoying the intake of sunlight in the morning. Upon learning of this behavior, standing next to a direction covered in leaves so that he could not detect my presence, as his vision was blocked by the bright sunlight, then I had the advantageous and free opportunity to photograph him as I wished, shooting him from the side, top, front, and even I can shoot at a distance of 50 cm.

Thus we can conclude that, if you want to photograph it from a close distance or about 50 cm, then do it at sunrise because their vision is affected by blinding light that can interfere with their vision.

Or just wait when they have entered the age of 1 week, because when they are one week old, their movements are slower, and this is influenced by their age which will enter the stage of death. In general you can see from the flapping of the wings that have been weak and different from butterflies that are about 1-3 days old, it also depends on the species of butterfly itself.

This experience, became a technique in knowing the technique to take the picture, which I often pay attention to in every butterfly species, such as :

1. Monarch butterfly
2. Ordinary monarch butterfly
3. This white butterfly, that resembles a pattern like this butterfly too
4. Princesse Butterfly
5. and, several other species, which are frequently present in this location.

When I was little, I used to catch them with a tool made of nets that had been made in such a way, but unfortunately when they were caught, their bodies became weak, this was influenced by the friction of the rough net. Thus forcing their wings to try to escape, when they touch the rough material in the form of a net, so that their wings become torn and even injured.

But, that's the children, who do not have feelings like adults, so it can harm the butterfly itself. But the butterflies that exist today, they are free to fly where they like, because I understand they also have families and there is still a lot of work to do in the form of trying to increase the population in life on this planet.
