Like every Sunday I go out for a bike ride of about ten or fifteen kilometers, it is something I have been doing for many years and I need it to recover from the week's work.

I leave around four o'clock in the morning, I like to do it early to go back to share with my wife and my little son.

It is almost five o'clock when I catch up with an old man walking slowly, it is common to see people walking there, not so early, but it is something that happens every Sunday. As I pass him he greets me cordially, he looks very old and slow to be alone at that hour on that road,

"It's dangerous for him", I think, "even so, what can I do?

I continue on my way, about five hundred meters ahead, he catches up with me again, he no longer walks slowly, he runs not like an athlete, he is a machine, so much so that he overtakes me and keeps on running.

I am so impressed that I stop to look at that so out of the ordinary, he turns his eyes and smiles at me with malice or maybe evil, because at that moment I understood that that was not something of this world.

He continued at the pace of a machine and I think maybe I slowed down my pedaling speed, I did not want to reach that character, something about him I did not like, he seemed diabolical to me.

I went up about two more kilometers, turned around and went back home, going down slowly thinking about what I saw, although I could not explain why, that had me sick.

The day was sunny, but from one moment to another a thick fog covered the entire road, it became a cold morning, the opposite of a few minutes ago.

After a while I hear footsteps running behind me, by pure inertia I turn to see who it is, to my astonishment it is him, more than running, he flies, he comes closer to me.

As he is almost next to me I can notice that he is not the old man from before, well I say it is not because of his physical build, he is a being that runs without touching the ground.

From one moment to the next he opens his hands and they turn into wings and flies through the air giving a screech, in the distance it was not a person it was a big bird or something similar that flew in the horizon giving those screeches.

The day returned to normal, sunny and clear, I can't explain what I saw that day, when I told my wife she said it was a vampire, but I understand that these only come out at night, I don't know what it could be.
