Several years ago I became interested in decoupage plates and not only, but I will not say anything about this for now.
I will not say anything because first I want to try, if I succeed.
So, I decided to start decoupage plates. I made the first plate for a friend, then for myself.
There are 2 ways to decoupage:
Reverse decoupage of the plate
Direct decoupage plate
I chose the 1st option.
I went to the store and bought glass transparent plates and napkins with drawings that I liked.
I bought a special glue for decoupage, acrylic-based varnish, acrylic paints.
Then I washed the back of the transparent plate and wiped it clean.
I cut out a drawing from a napkin.
Then laid down the cutout drawing and sprayed it with water from a spray bottle.
Carefully, so as not to tear, she smoothed the drawing with the pads of her fingers.
If you do not want to wait until the pasted napkin dries by itself, you can carefully dry it with a hairdryer.
Then reapply a layer of acrylic varnish.
Sorry if I missed something to write, tk. it was a few years ago. For the same reason, I cannot show you a photo of napkins from which I cut out and a photo of varnish.
