Today I want to show how I propagate a cactus.
The name of my cactus Pink Hildewintera Traisen.
It blooms very beautifully!
So I decided to plant another one.
I cut one shoot from a cactus.
Then I cut off the trunk of cactus as a “pencil” - a cone.
The photos I were taken with a Lenovo TAB 2 A10-70L tablet
Previously, I evenly cut the trunk of a cactus, as a result, the middle of the cactus was pulled in and the cactus did not take root.
I let the cut place dry, in which the cut-off places should be covered with a protective film.
After I sprinkled the tip of the cactus with ash, which is not only an antiseptic, but also a fertilizer.
As a result of the combustion of firewood or plants, ash contains many micro and macro elements, except nitrogen.
These minerals are very important for plants.
In addition, when ash is added to the soil, it makes it looser and reduces its acidity.
In Russia, from ancient times used ashes for growing plants.
It was also used in the garden for growing vegetables and herbs.
I also use ash for a long time when growing or transplanting plants.
That is, I use the "grandmother's recipes." :-)))
I hope that my experience will be useful to someone.
