Five years ago I wouldn't imagine I would be here. One year ago I couldn't imagine being here. Five years ago I was nineteen years old addicted to heroin on board a flight to Hawaii to get my life on track. One year ago I was selling half pounds of blow to various different people in the Northern San Diego community. Mostly doctors, neurosurgeons, and ex NFL players. Today I am almost a year sober and working extensively to be the healthiest person I can be. I have overcome obstacles I wouldn't have dreamed of, or had nightmares about.
I guess I will just go by the name of J. I am 25 years old now, coming up on 26 years and 1 year sober. I started by working out and praying with meditation every single day. I am not quite sure what direction of life I am trying to go, but I do know what direction I am not trying to go. I have an infinitesimal interest in music, art, and just creativity itself. The creativity of the human consciousness and personality. I fucking love motorcycles and have a Harley. I just got into an accident going out to Anza Borrego for the super bloom I am sure many of you heard about. So I have been pretty immobile after multiple surgeries. It creates a difficult problem for me with prior problems with substance abuse. So anyways, here I am after a lifetime of bad mistakes; I started with a few good choices and keep ending up in the right places at the right time. So I decided to give this community a try and see where it takes me. Thanks for your time.
