A few days ago I celebrated my 28th birthday but then I was having my last shift at work before having my first new transition rest day schedule. On that day since the paycheck is not yet arrived just after coming home from work, I decided to stay home and just sleep all-day waiting again for the later shift.

I was not so happy with my birthday because I was longing that I could spend my day with my family back home but then I have to prioritize my work first therefore I just started the job and I don't want to breach the rules.

The following morning, I was so excited to go home. After I arrived I ask the kids to give me a rest so we can go on a date at night.

In the evening and after we finished having dinner, we went to the town to look for a good place to bond. And during our roamed, I thought of returning to the restaurant that is on the edge of the shore named TAMBAYAN SA BAYBAYON. Tambayan is just a local word for "a place to stay" and baybayon is "near the shore". They serve every 10 am - 10 pm on weekdays but for me, the place is very nice to visit at night time.

The food here is quite expensive, but you can't deny the beauty of their place. They have a lot of good food to offer and during weekends they also have a live band to perform which makes their place to be visited by many.

Along the area where visitors can dine in their favorite foods and drinks, they also have this side of the corner where they have displayed different second-hand things sold at cheaper prices. I was able to buy a few pieces before and from what I've heard these things were from a family living here before and already migrated somewhere else so they are selling everything they have here and the owner of the place helps them out by displaying it here. And since I came here for food, I didn't bother to take another picture inside.

After taking those photos I already joined my boys where the vacant space is.

So just ordered some desserts since we have already taken our dinner at home.

We had this dessert we locally call halo-halo it is stuffed with different ingredients like crushed ice, gelatin, and sweetened fruits like banana, jackfruit, and corn. it also has rice crispies ube yam, milk, ice cream, and some others that I forget. I bought these for 75PHP each or $1.34 if converted to USD. Note that halo-halo is best to eat when you stir and combine the ingredients first. We also had a bowl of nachos for 100PHP or $1.79. In that bowl were chips and a strip of cabbage, tomatoes with fries underneath topped with mayonnaise and cheese. The kids didn't like the nachos because it was their first time tasting them so they requested to buy them ice cream so bought them a cornetto ice cream for 30PHP or $54 each.

What we spent was not bad, apart from the delicious food, the place is beautiful for meditation and simple conversation so that we can bond as a family. Everything here is worth the money and time.

That would be all for now. This will be my participation in #MarketFriday, initiated by dswigle@dswigle.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and I hope you found it interesting!
Have a great day and stay safe everyone! 馃槝
