How's the weather over there?

I just feel I should ask this question because while some people are celebrating, while others are not really smiling.
So tell me, what's the weather over there where you are? Is it Summer, Winter, Autumn, Rainy or Dry? And, is it really going well with you.

The rainy season brings cooler weather and supports farming. Yeah, you heard me right, every farmer loves this season as it supports plants growth, and bountiful harvest. But for many communities in Nigeria, it also brings flooded roads, damaged homes, disrupted businesses, and daily hardship.

Have you ever experienced flooding during the rainy season? Were you affected? How did you sail through it?

Well, those photos above and the ones below shows the situation here in AkwaIbom State following the heavy rain-fall experienced in this part of the country. Commuters bound in claustrophobic situation because there are no roads to go about their daily businesses; business centers closed down because shops are flooded; hunger knocks harder on the door because the word "market" had been subjected to a mere abstract word; farms have become harbour for canoe; and for some days now, some people have not tasted sleep because there is no house, and no room.
