chrysanthemum
One day, the teacher told the students that they would all mention the names of their favorite flower in their next class after break time, so they should all go think about it. During break Akin went to one of his classmates and asked him what his favorite flower was, the boy told Akin that the name of his favorite flower was chrysanthemum. Akin liked the name of the flower and how it sounded, he felt the teacher would think highly of him if he mentioned it. Before the class began, Akin went and sat in front so he would be the first to be called. When the class began, teacher then asked, "Akin what's the name of your favorite flower?", Akin answered proudly "chrysanthemum", the teacher then said "spell it". Akin not knowing how to spell chrysanthemum quickly interjected "please I was joking, that is not my favorite flower, the name of my favorite flower is rose. rose is spelt R-O-S-E"

like father like son
Akin's father got furious, he even started insulting the teachers, he told them about how he was the smartest man in his family and couldn't produce a dull son. He requested that they asked Akin some simple questions in his presence so he would confirm that what they were saying was true. They sent for Akin and when he came, his teacher asked him a simple question.

"Akin please spell LION ?" the teacher said, "Teacher please stop" Akin's father cuts-in immediately, "don't you know he is a small child ?, how can you tell him to spell such a big animal, you should tell him to spell a small animal like MOSQUITO".
smart Akin
Akin was finally moved to a new school. His father had scolded him and warned him not to give his teachers problems so he was really calm in class. Since it was his first day, he had brown new uniforms, shoes and books.
When the sciences teacher entered their class, he easily noticed Akin because Akin was a new student. Akin was really calm and neat, he even had all the school books and this made the teacher like him so much. He thought of Akin as a very smart boy because Akin was calm and he comported himself well.
The Teacher started the lesson for the day, he was to take them on the topic Photosynthesis.
"Hello students !, our topic today is photosynthesis" the teacher said. "So what is photosynthesis ?", the teacher asked rhetorically. Akin raised his hands to answer the question. The teacher was impressed and although he initially didn't want an answer from anyone, he decided to give Akin a chance, he felt Akin would probably have learnt the topic in his previous school and he wanted to see if Akin was really smart like he thinks.
He asked Akin to stand up, then he repeated his initial statement.
"Our topic today is photosynthesis. Akin can you please tell the class what photosynthesis is ?"
Akin answered and said "Sir, Photosynthesis is our topic today"
The whole class including the teacher burst out in laughter.
pay attention
After Akin had stayed a while in the school, he resumed his naughty ways, he was always playing and disturbing others in class, his teachers always warned him but he didn't change.
One day, as the lesson was going on, Akin was playing at the back and distracting other students, the teacher saw him and angrily shouted "Akin you better pay attention or leave my class", Akin stood up and started walking out of the class. When the teacher asked him why he was leaving, he replied "Teacher, My father is poor and I don't have any Money to pay attention"
