Me maquillo desde hace 6 a帽os, ha sido un largo camino donde mi creatividad ha pasado por muchas facetas. Comenc茅 con lo m谩s sencillo, el Social Glam, pero mi coraz贸n siempre ha estado lleno de colores y es por ello que r谩pidamente salt茅 a experimentar con el maquillaje colorido. Viv铆a con una relaci贸n amor odio con el Social Glam, era de amor porque lo ve铆a y dec铆a "es hermoso" pero cuando lo ejecutaba pensaba que era demasiado f谩cil y que, necesitaba retos. Es as铆 como deje de lado ese estilo, me concentr茅 en otras t茅cnicas y eventualmente regrese al Maquillaje Social Glam.
I've been doing makeup for 6 years, it's been a long road where my creativity has gone through many facets. I started with the simplest, Social Glam, but my heart has always been full of colors and that's why I quickly jumped to experiment with colorful makeup. I lived with a love hate relationship with Social Glam, it was love because I saw it and said "it's beautiful" but when I executed it I thought it was too easy and I needed challenges. That's how I let go of that style, focused on other techniques and eventually came back to Social Glam Makeup.
Pero... 驴Qu茅 es el Social Glam? Es ese maquillaje que resalta tus facciones, que es hermoso, sencillo, en tonos neutros o con un poco de color. Tiene el nombre de "Social" porque puede adaptarse a cualquier situaci贸n, puede ser bastante tranquilo, como tambi茅n Glam y elegante. Es por ello que cuando vemos maquillajes sociales, observamos Smoky Eyes, Cut Crease, enmarcaci贸n de cuenca con uno, dos, o hasta tres colores como m谩ximo.
But... What is Social Glam? It's that makeup that highlights your features, that is beautiful, simple, in neutral tones or with a little color. It has the name "Social" because it can adapt to any situation, it can be quite calm, as well as Glam and elegant. That's why when we see social makeup, we see Smoky Eyes, Cut Crease, socket framing with one, two, or even three colors at most.
Para este reto donde el Social Glam es el protagonista, quise irme por la teor铆a, ya que, como Makeup Artist con estudios, no puedo ir en contra de ello, y al mismo tiempo agregarle ese toque personal ya tanto me gusta. Mediante la aplicaci贸n de sombras, combinaci贸n de colores y texturas, quise dejar un poco de mi esencia.
For this challenge where Social Glam is the protagonist, I wanted to go for the theory, since, as a trained Makeup Artist, I can't go against it, and at the same time add that personal touch that I like so much. Through the application of shadows, combination of colors and textures, I wanted to leave a little of my essence.
Para la elaboraci贸n de este maquillaje estuve haciendo uso de 2 de mis paletas de sombras favoritas, Beauty Glazed y Aria Cosmetics. Utilic茅 una sombra marr贸n en la esquina exterior para que conectara con el bronzer, de esta manera hay m谩s armon铆a en el look. En la esquina interior coloqu茅 sombras met谩licas de varios colores, siendo el verde protagonista pero en un tono claro, con el objetivo de resaltar mis ojos marrones. Y, en la parte inferior, un toque muy sutil de rosado, porque ese color es demasiado yo.
For the elaboration of this makeup I was making use of 2 of my favorite eyeshadow palettes, Beauty Glazed and Aria Cosmetics. I used a brown shadow in the outer corner to connect with the bronzer, this way there is more harmony in the look. In the inner corner I placed metallic shadows of various colors, being the green protagonist but in a light tone, with the aim of highlighting my brown eyes. And, at the bottom, a very subtle touch of pink, because that color is too much me.
El estilismo que acompa帽贸 este Makeup fue hecho por m铆, llevando mi cabello liso, ya que es algo que me caracteriza, junto con una pinza a un costado para darle forma y dejando dos mechones sueltos adelante, muy a la moda. Accesorios en tonos dorados, con un toque de plateado. De outfit estuve llevando una falta negra que me gusta mucho y en la parte superior un "top" peludo que realmente era una falda, as铆 que lo transform茅 para utilizando, inspir谩ndome en un look que llev贸 Olivia Rodrigo en una alfombra roja.
The styling that accompanied this Makeup was done by me, wearing my hair straight, as it is something that characterizes me, along with a clip on the side to give it shape and leaving two loose strands in front, very fashionable. Accessories in gold tones, with a touch of silver. For the outfit I was wearing a black skirt that I like a lot and on top a furry top that was really a skirt, so I transformed it to use it, inspired by a look that Olivia Rodrigo wore on a red carpet.
El look est谩 inspirado en la frase "menos es m谩s", llevando t茅cnicas glamurosas de una manera bastante sencilla, combinado con un look full black, para darle un poco m谩s de elegancia, pero tambi茅n arriesgado al ser algo corto. Para estas fotos me estuve trasladando a un apartamento que nos prestaron, en un conjunto residencial llamado Bordones Village. 隆Espero que les hayan encantado estas fotos y mi maquillaje glam, nos leemos pronto!
The look is inspired by the phrase "less is more", wearing glamorous techniques in a quite simple way, combined with a full black look, to give it a little more elegance, but also risky to be something short.
