You don’t always have to look up to see the sky. Sometimes all it takes is a glance down - at a car’s rear window or side mirror, at a locked phone screen, at any piece of glass that decided to be a mirror for a minute or even a pool of water. You grab?
I caught this one in my office parking lot. It had been a cloudy afternoon. Heavy, grey, the kind of sky that makes you think rain is imminent. Well, weather forecast that morning showed 80% chance of rain, so the cloudy sky was expected.
Then, just for a moment, something happened. The clouds shifted, and the sun pushed through as if saying "you can't keep me hidden all day. I need to power these street lights, else there'll be complete darkness at night and I'll be accused. So make way, cloudy!" Lol.
And look at how the street light stretched up, as if saying; "don't worry, if you can't shine below, I'll meet you up there." Hehehe.
"Perfect timing" I said.
I quickly captured some shots showing that moment of break in the weather and the street below.
These photos you see here only remind us that the sky isn’t only above. Sometimes it’s right in our front. And we can only see it if we pause and look.
And that's a wrap.
