Hahaha! Especially when it's a garment you love! There are shirts, shorts, or dresses that I adore so much that I suffer when the fabric rots, because at that point, the sewing can't fix anything when they tear, haha.

So true. 🤣 There's this simple but beautiful gown that I have been wearing for a few years now. It's torn beyond patching under the armpit. I just folded it and kept in a bag. Can't bring myself to trash it. 😂😂
