Hahaha! Especially when it's a garment you love! There are shirts, shorts, or dresses that I adore so much that I suffer when the fabric rots, because at that point, the sewing can't fix anything when they tear, haha. With today's consumerism of clothing, it's very rare to find those of us who still cling to "old clothes," although the good thing is that "vintage" is in fashion, so we can continue wearing our favorite outdated pieces and say it's "retro," haha. Something else I love is altering clothes when I get bored with them; that way, I don't get rid of them and I can keep wearing them.
