Phew! What a day!
Today was a beehive of activity. Just like in other regions, Saturdays are usually jam-packed with events in my city. There's always something going on, whether it's a wedding ceremony, birthday, social club event, or even church activities, no dull moment on a Saturday. It's when people often have the chance to spend time with family, friends and others.
So today, I worked as a waitstaff at an event, and it was nonstop action - running around serving food, clearing tables, and ensuring the guests were well taken care of.
While the event was in full swing, it started raining heavily, and it was almost a challenge to keep everything on track. But thankfully, no heavy wind accompanied the rain so there was not much worry.
On the flip side - or should I say, the disappointing thing was that I didn't even get a chance to use my phone at the event - I did not snap even a single photo, let alone a selfie. 馃槬 Imagine me, a photo enthusiast missing out on capturing the moments at the event. It was a bit frustrating but I didn't have a choice!
Well, I'm grateful that the event went well and the guests left happy and satisfied. I even received commendations from some of them for my services, and this really made my day.
I got home completely exhausted, had a warm shower which was refreshing and rejuvenating. Once this post is published, I'm hitting the bed right away. This weary body needs some good rest. 馃槄
