Text: John 6:1-13

When man is created by God, He surrounded him with everything necessary so that man had no needs that were not provided; God gave man: a place to live, food, work, help "your wife" (Genesis 2: 8-25) fits all you need; but because of sin, those needs were aggravated and others arose. What is a need? It is lack or scarcity of the essential to live. Example: air, water, food ...

It is interesting to know the picture of what happened around Jesus, He was healing the sick and that is why a great crowd of 5000 men without counting women and children met, immaginese, maybe there would be about 15,000.
As we read this text of John 6, we see some important truths, which Jesus shows us really provides our needs. Let's see:

1- Jesus knows your need just by seeing you. (V.5)
a) Just by seeing the crowd he knew that what they needed was food.
b) When you come to Jesus and he sees you, you can be calm because HE already knows your need. (Matthew 6:32, Luke 12: 7)

2- Jesus cares about your need as if it were from Him.
a) He could have sent people to their hungry homes as his disciples advised him. (Matthew 14:15)
b) This teaches us that Jesus is very interested in helping us in our needs. (1 Peter 5: 7)

3- Jesus will use the most insignificant to supply your need. (V. 8 and 9)
a) This was only the food of a boy to give it to more than 5000 people.
b) God used crows to bring food to Elijah in the midst of his need. (1 Kings 17:27)

4- The only thing that you must do so that he can supply your need.
a) You must believe in Him and follow Him. (Mark 1:15)

It does not matter what type your need is: spiritual, physical, emotional; only Jesus Christ has the power to satisfy it to the fullest; that is why we always have to open our hearts, and come with your burdens of any kind, because you will not be a burden to Him. He says that "if anyone comes to ME, I do not throw him out ..."

God bless you
