ASSIGNMENTS
Have you ever been given an assignment which you felt you could do with just a snap of your finger?.just like that?. To the point where you felt so relaxed until u can see the deadline of submission starring down at you and smilling mischieviously?. Yes that is me right now versus ECN314.
ECN314 is the course code for Economic Development And Planning. Our lecturer DR Bassey had asked us to Revise the Development approaches made by Nigeria,Summarize them,point out their failures and in our own knowledge suggest the way foward,not more than 30 pages. Need i say this assignment was given 21st of December last year and to be submitted on 25th of january,and yes today is 23rd and i have only been able to write about a page and half.
Severally i have attempted to do this assignment,buh, you know that little evil spirit friend inside of you telling you there was still time?,yes i had dat one and it constantly told me i had to relax.too bad i listened
Since it was the festive period as at the time assignment was given,there was even more reason to relax,school had gone on break,and all i ever though of was releasing stress of school and enjoying the yuletide season,i had completely forgotten about the assignment,living my life to the fullest and ignoring all signs that i had something to do.my birthday was also around the conner and all i wanted to do was turn up,buh due to money constraint things didnt go as planned.fastfoward to the 21st of this month,i was woken up from sleep by my roomie, only for her to ask me what i frlt was the weirdest question.Have you completed your assignment?
My reply?? Ur guess is as good as mine.i was dumbfounded, i had less than 4days to complete a 30 page assignment,well 2days now,since today is 23.and all ive written is a page and half.so far i have cancelled my work twice.i wish i could come up with a stupid excuse as to why my assignment would not b submitted on the said date,but this is college,and here no one cares,ull just have to repeat.
Am sure ill be able to go far on it tonight because i plan on staying up all night,even if hell lets loose all its demons to convince me to sleep,i shall not listen.
