My day to day work takes place in the rectorate belonging to the Universidad de Oriente (the highest house) as they proudly call it, where the best professionals of my country have graduated; there I have been working as a warehouse manager for more than 20 years in the warehouse department.

I lived with my mother and my older sister. When I was little I was shy, getting words out of my mouth was not easy. My mother tried hard to get me to interact with other people, especially children. That's why I took classical ballet, dance and Spanish (I wasn't very willing); it has never really been my thing, but I always try to learn. On a salsa island, you must do a few dance steps and join your friends. My mother also signed me up for English classes, and I was good at it, so I am fluent. My love for languages together with my love for Brazil made me learn Brazilian Portuguese, I would very much like to visit this country and have a taste of its culture and its people.

Hello, my name is Nania Leal. I was born in Valencia, Venezuela. I lived all my life in one of the early found parishes of the state of Carabobo, Saint Blas where I was born and raised in the same street, same house, with my grandparents, uncles, cousins, my dad, mom, and my brother. I remember one occasion when we were living almost twenty people at that house.

But as years went by each family group took their separate way, others simply were gone because it was their turn, as they say to go to a better place, for sickness or old age. Or surprisingly as it was the case of my father, I heard him at the bathroom a Friday morning ñ, getting ready to go on a trip and by the afternoon when I got home from the University he had passed away.

My mother is a housewife and my father is an electrician. I have a pretty average life, which is cool for me since I am content with what I have. I am also an academic achiever, but compared to other students I am average. I don't participate much in school and have trouble in speaking in front of the class. Among my friends, I am the loud one, an extrovert. I am also in a special program curriculum, students. Like me have an additional subjects like advanced chemistry and research. It's so draining sometimes and it made me feel so exhausted. It's hard for me to catch up sometimes but in the end, I can. I'm not too fond of school but at the same time I love school, my friends make school 100 times better. I love hanging out with them and the laughs we make are priceless.
