Recently, I decided to close the social networks I normally use, such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The amount of content we consume daily is overwhelming, between ads and algorithms that show you content from people you don't follow, making us constantly scroll through our phones and becoming addicted. In Hive, these problems don't exist and you can be in a community with topics similar to yours, where you are the true owner of your content.

I love the dark more than the light: Personally, philosophically and in many ways I buck the trend. I remember reading a book called "If you meet the buddha on the road, kill him" (Sheldon Kopp). I was born into a family of Practising Christians in a country where 98% people believe in other religions. I grew up to question much of the stuff I have learnt. So today my faith is a mishmash of so many different religions. Yet I am happy being neither this or that (which is the same as saying I am That - for those who understand Indian Philosophy).
