Hello Hive Family :)
My name is Meemi and I guess this is my introduction! ππ»ββοΈ
I'm in my 20s and people would describe me as bubbly, caring, and sometimes the funniest person in the room π. Although I am very shy in the beginning and slow to open up, once I do I let my heart pour out.
People often tell me that I have a "calm aura" about me - one of my friend even gifted me a Yankee candle called "peaceful" π. What can I say? I'm an introvert girl who loves understanding the heck out of people and cares about making deep connections with my fellow human beans π€
Don't get me wrong though, I definitely have a spontaneous side as well. You can find me taking weekend hikes near the river, dancing in my room π, or looking up anything related to Harry Potter (yes I'm a huge potter nerd).
I live in Canada and have a Psychology Degree (No I can't read people's minds or help diagnose your kid). I have experienced both being in the busy city and also the calm country side. I realized I love both sides of Canada and I'm so happy I get to experience them. Here are a few pics from my exploring adventures:

I have so many more pictures of my explorations, perhaps I can put that in another post for you guys!
Since I've spent most of my life in school and right now I am exploring other hobbies and trying out new things as well.
For example, I'm starting my own business and so far it's been both fun and stressful π . I am very creative and I even used to gift people paintings I made myself (they were not Vincent Van Gogh level but I made them with my soul). So it's fun to express my creativity in my new business.
I'm learning as I go and it's a LOT of work. But I love it. I also discovered my love for horse riding just a few years ago and have bonded with these lovely animals ever since. (In the future I'm going to write a post on the amazing lessons I've learned from horses! ππΌ).

I'm going through my camera roll right now and realized I have tons and tons of pictures I have never shared with anyone. But I'd love to share with you, hive fam, so watch out for my posts! π€
I guess you probably want to know why and how I got started blogging?
Well, I wanted a positive and interesting community to start conversing with. I used to love poetry, painting and writing so much when I was younger. I was like Anne of Green Gables with my pen and paper, writing endless stories and poems with my head in the clouds. (Shoutout to you if you know who Anne with an E is, she's one of my favourite fictional characters).
But I lost the joy to write when I started listening to the negative chatter. I got made fun of by my family members and it really disheartened me. I quit writing altogether because I thought I had nothing good to say.
I was quiet for a long, long time.
This is my first time picking up a "pen" again and letting my voice be heard.
This is why blogging is so important to me and interacting with you guys, getting to know your stories and ideas and sharing mine as well. I think so many people have wonderful ideas and imaginations, if only we just took the time to listen.
I would love to read all your wonderful posts and I hope you stop by and read some of mine too π
Love,
Meemi
