Petersen suggests that people who get involved with this stuff really don't know enough about it to realise what damage socially occurs as the result of such ideologies.

This has been going on for a good, 40-50 years, maybe more if you really want to go into the history of it. The education system is really complicit in the goal of the indoctrination of children at a young age. As Petersen points out, this stuff is not hidden, it is stated in plain view. Actually I come across many people who are ok with this, they really believe that socialist/capitalist utopia is something achievable.

The history is not enough to change there minds, even today with the metoo movement, call for sacking of political leaders for perceived indiscretion without due process (Canada & Australia), relying on the court of public opinion to deliver sentence, with no recourse for those that are falsly accused. This speech by Petersen is old, it was a prediction of what would come in less than a year. The lolly pop guy in UK is a perfect example, who resigned out of exasperation after a parent suggested that giving the kids high fives as the crossed the road was akin to grooming.

The list of women that have touched me inappropriately at work is astounding, but we are not talking about equality are we.

Censorship on matters of sex, race, religion, cultural appropriation (whatever that is) in the interest of not offending people is childish. Self censorship is exactly what creates echo chambers, it perpetuates problems long after people realise that they are wrong. Self censorship gets people killed. <- I self censored here to protect the feelings of certain groups.
