If you’re an entrepreneur, if you’re in tech; out of the thousands of years you could have been born, you found yourself in this time; congratulations, you just won the lottery. In 2016 alone people poured over $60 billion into startups and valued them at something crazy like $150 billion.
The opportunities for so many to start something for themselves and chase their dreams have never been more prolific. No one is going to hand it to you, but accessibility is at a high point. With the internet, hundreds of How To and Dummy guides, and so many Vlogging and giving advice, all you need is a willingness to learn and a hunger to go after what you want.
Listen, this is a very rare time and place in history – there’s no social stigma but a social premium on being an entrepreneur. There are even TV sitcoms based on entrepreneurs. If you’re an entrepreneur I want to share my gratitude that you and I are living in a very special time in history right now.
