It is rare enough when our 'leaders'' moves on the global chessboard are openly televised. It is even rarer still when their psycopathy is also televised to go along with it. That anyone believes these interventions are done purely to spread democracy or for humanitarian reasons illustrates the power of the media. The media used to hold the government accountable, now it takes pre-packaged news stories direct from liasons. This isn't even to touch on the fact that the news media is controlled by just a few people, or that they are all infiltrated with members of the federal 'praetorian' class.
The goal in Libya was supposedly to help the Libyan people and spread self-determination. It is now a virtual wasteland being fought over by ever shifting alliances of weak governments, strongmen, and armed militias. Any expert on Libya, even casual observers, could have correctly guessed this would be the outcome. Supposedly our government couldn't foresee the disaster that would be wrought. I contend they knew well enough from the beginning, the reported sodomizing of Gaddafi with a bayonet being a crowning achievement of Hillary as a secretary of state. For this action cemented the profits of European oil companies and semented the vast reserves of arms needed to kick off the next disaster in Syria.
There is no way around the fact that publicly and gleefully laughing at brutal murders on TV is a mark of psychopathy. Millions would later go on to vote for this woman. How can we expect different if we dont use our discernment?
