Voting is one of the important thing to do in a democratic country, a country whereby the people are allowed to vote for who they want, their choices and what they want.
Since is not military regime, and it's democracy people have the opinion and options to what whatever they want to do. Meanwhile we also know they important of elections in the country everyone wants to put their candidates because of what they will benefit and that is why there different parties in the government.
Elections start from the community, to the local government, to the state, down to the federal and so on like that, this is just to tell you there is a chain from the bottom to the top.
Now the question is, won't it be better to tell people to vote for ? Especially when the wrong one is oblivious, why not vote for the right one? In my own point of view, I believe everyone is has right to whatever thing they want to do, especially when it's democracy, the first question is who is the right candidate? How do you know the right candidate? I will use my country as a case of study. To know the right candidate is extremely hard, why do I say that? Everyone happens to be the right candidate before they enter the position and become the wrong person after the election and won the election.
These people will promise to give you heaven before people vote for them, I could remember how some of them promise to tackle the issues of insecurity, lack of jobs for graduates students, making the life of everyone look good and promise Peace in the country, same people promised twenty four hours electricity, and so on like that. But then none of these mentioned above comes to past. The funniest that is that, they don't even care about the citizens feelings.
I could remembered some years back, when a particular government was doing very bad in their, when the time of elections was coming, people supported the other party just because they want a better change, a better life so more than half of the country voted for the other person just to remove the previous one. Before the election, we all think the country and the people living inside will now live the best of their life, but as we speak it's more like hell. In fact the previous contestants was way better than the one we are having now, people are not just suffering but dying.
Imagine this kind of scenario whereby you don't know who to vote for because all of them are just the same thing, it has always been the previous better than the present and this as been happening for years.
So my point is that, we don't even know the right candidate, and people have the opinion to vote for who they think is right got them, because at the end of the day, they will be the one to either enjoy it or suffer it.
