The men of the lost generation:
Without purpose, as the family has been weakened.
Without role models, as they grow up in the absence of real men.
Without guiding principles, as they are steeped in toxic culture.
Without partnership, as the courts rule against them
We mention all of the above and should realize that leaves them without the means to found a strong family. A generation of boys raised by women and boys. The value of a strong father in a boy's life seems lost as single moms think daycare and instant mac and cheese is enough, as the TV shows always depict strong domineering women and bumbling soft Phil Dunpheys.
Young men, if you feel any of this applies to you, let me share some sage advice from my father, and his fathers before him.
Whatever your aim in life, learn a skill or a trade, so you always have something to fall back on.
Form your own beliefs, trust yourself enough for them to be rigid.
You can't take the toys and the money with you, but you can let your legacy remain. That means the world's knowledge you were a good man that lived by principle. That means what you created and built in the world around you. It means what you pass to your sons.
Dont let your distractions become your purpose.
Look people in the eyes and have a firm handshake.
A man's duty is to plan for the future, not live in the now or play catch up with the past.
