As well as writing meditations I also like to write poetry.....nothing specific.....just whatever comes to mind in the moment.....
This is one I wanted to share....
"The Wild Woman Within"
She hears the call inside her...
From a place she long forgot.
She feels the desires within her...
To return to a place untaught.
The wild streak that grows...
From depths inside untold.
The connection she feels to nature...
Of strength and nurture unfold.
A connection as old as time itself...
Remains strong and never broken.
Anchors her within the wilderness abound...
A place of silent words unspoken.
There's a power that resides deep inside her...
Awakened memories of times long past.
Something ancient to be re-dicovered...
Into the light from shadows cast.
