I made some tweaks to the character sheets and think they look a little better (plus they now have weapon ranges, and a weapon range code legend)
I have not yet finished making the characters, though I'm just about where I need to be to make them all as far as having talents and Gear ported over. Gear is not balanced yet and numbers will have to change (especially price), but the Quickstart is playing Gear a little fast-and-loose anyway.
I've changed the contamms so they're more about long shot-sketchy failure recovery as opposed to being disposable one-shot characters, because that both doesn't play well with the "oh, you're not dead just incapacitated" standard combat rules and also just doesn't work well from a "I want to tell a story with this character aaaand they're gone" perspective.
The quickstart isn't quick, but it is a start. It's looking like it will be 70 pages in Word, and I'm not quite sure how it'll transfer over to the final layout but I have a feeling that it's going to be longer by the time everything is said and done.
Fortunately, while that's longish that's not impossible compared to some of my comp titles.
Core rulebook progress continues in the form of making the content there to cover the stuff in the quickstart, though I'm also noodling around with other things because I'm not behind deadline for nothing!
This is a short update because I just wanted to check in and confirm that Kenoma is still coming. I just had other stuff to do today that got in the way of me doing work on Kenoma, but soon it will be in your hands!
