Greetings guys, I hope you are all well, and are carrying out this quarantine in a good way, I know that for many it has been difficult to be locked up for so long, but the sacrifice is necessary, besides it is only temporary, come on! Yes, it can be done :). To brighten up your day, or so I hope, I bring you a new drawing, as you were expecting from "Frozen", but this will be the last one, we close with the characters of Kristoff and Sven, which modesty aside, I found very tender. Next I will explain step by step how I got the final result. Without further ado, let's get started.
Saludos chicos, espero que todos se encuentren bien, y estén llevando de buena manera esta cuarentena, sé que para muchos ha sido difícil estar tanto tiempo encerrado, pero el sacrificio es necesario, además es solo temporal, vamos! Que si se puede :). Para alegrarles el día, o eso espero, les traigo un nuevo dibujo, como ya esperaban de “Frozen”, pero este ya será el último, cerramos con los personajes de Kristoff y Sven, los cuales modestia aparte me quedaron muy tiernos. A continuación explicare el paso a paso de como obtuve el resultado final. Sin más que decir empecemos.
Process / Proceso

I start by making the guide lines, something quick and simple, the idea in this step is to determine the proportions of the characters, postures and some other details.
Empiezo haciendo las líneas guías, algo rápido y sencillo, la idea en este paso es determinar las proporciones de los personajes, posturas y algún que otro detalle.
Outlined / Delineado
Now we move on to the refinement of the lines, here I make a clean drawing which will serve as a basis for applying the color of the next step.
Ahora pasamos al refinado de las líneas, acá realizo un dibujo limpio el cual me servirá como base para aplicar el color del siguiente paso.
Colour / Color
Now comes the fun part, the coloring, as usual I use the marker brush, to apply all the color, you could also use the filler tool, but I think you enjoy this part of the process less, I use soft shades as a base to then apply the shadows and glows in different layers.
Ahora viene la parte divertida, el coloreado, como es costumbre uso el pincel rotulador, para aplicar todo el color, también podrías usar la herramienta de relleno, pero pienso que se disfruta menos esta parte del proceso, uso matices suaves como base para luego aplicar las sombras y brillos en diferentes capas.
Shadows / Sombras
Now it's time to apply the shadows, what I do is copy the color of the area where I'm going to shade and with the color palette under a little bit the brightness and saturation, to finally apply it with the airbrush, in this step I also take the opportunity to put the texture to Sven's coat and Kristoff's clothes.
Ahora toca aplicar las sombras, lo que hago es copiar el color de la zona donde voy a sombrear y con la paleta de color bajo un poco el brillo y la saturación, para finalmente aplicarlo con el pincel aerógrafo, en este paso también aproveche a colocarle la textura al pelaje de Sven y la vestimenta de Kristoff.
Lights / Luces
For the glows we apply the same technique we use for the shadows, we copy the base color to be illuminated, and modify it in the color palette, but this time we lower the saturation a little and increase the brightness, to finally apply it with the airbrush.
Para los brillos aplicamos la misma técnica que usamos para las sombras, copiamos el color base a iluminar, y modificamos en la paleta de colores, pero esta vez bajamos un poco la saturación y aumentamos el brillo, para finalmente aplicarlo con el pincel aerógrafo.
Background / Fondo
For the background I wanted to recreate a mountain theme. Use the watercolor brush and make a gradient of colors from dark brown at the bottom to a light green, in the mountains I used several shades of blue which fade a little with the sky.
Para el fondo quise recrear una temática de montaña. Use el pincel acuarela y realice un degradado de colores desde el marrón oscuro en la parte inferior hasta un verde claro, en las montañas use varias tonalidades de azul las cuales se difuminan un poco con el cielo.
Details / Detalles
Now to finish, draw several leaves in different layers, framing the whole drawing to give it an autumn look.
Ahora para finalizar dibuje varias hojas en diferentes capas, enmarcando todo el dibujo para darle un aspecto otoñal al mismo.
Materials / Materiales
The tools I used for the drawing were the following:
- Android tablet.
- Capacitive pen (Stylus).
- Ibis Paint X program.
- Brushes: Pencil, Airbrush, Watercolor, Marker.
Las herramientas que use para el dibujo fueron las siguientes:
- Tableta Android.
- Lápiz Capacitivo (Stylus).
- Programa Ibis Paint X.
- Pinceles: Lapiz, Aerografo, Acuarela, Rotulador.
