Cinella Animated Style

Hello everyone, my name is Lorentm and I am a digital artist. Welcome once again to my art blog where I love to share with you the pieces that inspire me the most. On this occasion, I wanted to bring to life a fan art based on one of the fascinating characters from @holozing. It fills me with joy to connect with the community through my creations and explore new ways of interpreting their characters.

For this artwork, I decided to focus on Cinella, and I chose to reimagine her in an anime style with a humanized feminine version. From the very beginning, I was captivated by the energy and unique charm this character radiates, which inspired me to give her a more expressive and dynamic look.

Cinella’s design carries an interesting essence: her ladybug-inspired theme instantly conveys playfulness but also strength, making her stand out among other characters. Translating these traits into a humanized form was a fun challenge, as I wanted to keep her original essence while adding a touch of personality and vibrancy.

I’m truly excited to share this creation with you all. I hope that, while reading and viewing this artwork, you’ll feel the same excitement I had while bringing Cinella to life. Hola a todos, mi nombre es Lorentm y soy una artista digital. Bienvenidos una vez más a mi blog de arte, un espacio donde me encanta compartir con ustedes las piezas que más me inspiran. En esta ocasión quise dar vida a un fan art basado en uno de los fascinantes personajes de @holozing. Me llena de alegría conectar con la comunidad a través de mis creaciones y explorar nuevas formas de interpretar a sus personajes.

Para esta obra decidí centrarme en Cinella, y opté por reinterpretarla en un estilo anime con una versión humanizada femenina. Desde el inicio me cautivó la energía y el encanto único que transmite este personaje, lo que me inspiró a darle una apariencia más expresiva y dinámica.

El diseño de Cinella tiene una esencia muy interesante: su temática inspirada en una mariquita transmite al instante simpatía, pero también fuerza, lo que la hace destacar entre otros personajes. Traducir esos rasgos a una forma humanizada fue un reto divertido, pues quise mantener su esencia original, pero con un toque de personalidad y vitalidad.

Estoy muy emocionada de compartir esta creación con ustedes. Espero que al leer y observar esta obra sientan la misma emoción que yo tuve al dar vida a Cinella. Y por supuesto, quiero agradecer a @acidyo y @holozing por apoyar continuamente mis obras y motivar a artistas como yo a seguir creando.

Cinella’s humanized design shows her as a vibrant and energetic girl, dressed in a costume inspired by the patterns of a ladybug. Her outfit combines a red top with black spots, paired with a skirt that softens the contrast and brings balance to her overall look. On her head, she wears a helmet with little antennae, a detail that enhances her playful side while keeping the essence of her original character.

Her hair is a fiery shade of red, loose and flowing with movement, giving her a dynamic and lively appearance. Her eyes are large and expressive, full of determination but also surprise, as she runs forward. The roller skates on her feet highlight her agility and add an element of speed and adventure to the scene.

The setting of the artwork depicts her in a chase, pursued by robotic ladybugs flying above her. This gives the scene a sense of action and urgency, as if she’s caught in an unexpected adventure. The warm lighting and open background frame the moment perfectly, adding to the feeling of motion and energy.

El diseño humanizado de Cinella la muestra como una chica vibrante y enérgica, vestida con un traje inspirado en los patrones de una mariquita. Su atuendo combina una blusa roja con manchas negras, acompañada de una falda que suaviza el contraste y aporta equilibrio a su apariencia general. En la cabeza lleva un casco con antenitas, un detalle que resalta su lado juguetón y conserva la esencia de su personaje original.

Su cabello es de un rojo intenso, suelto y lleno de movimiento, lo que le da un aire dinámico y lleno de vida. Sus ojos son grandes y expresivos, cargados de determinación pero también de sorpresa, mientras corre hacia adelante. Los patines que lleva en los pies resaltan su agilidad y añaden un elemento de velocidad y aventura a la escena.

El escenario de la obra la muestra en plena persecución, siendo seguida por mariquitas robóticas que vuelan sobre ella. Esto aporta a la escena un aire de acción y urgencia, como si estuviera atrapada en una aventura inesperada. La luz cálida y el fondo abierto enmarcan el momento a la perfección, sumando a la sensación de movimiento y energía.

Process / Proceso

The first step in bringing this artwork to life was the sketch. At this stage, I focused on capturing Cinella’s pose and the sense of motion that defines the entire piece. I wanted her to look energetic, almost as if she were about to leap out of the page.

Once the sketch was ready, I moved on to the lineart. Here, I paid special attention to defining her silhouette, the details of her clothing, and the expression on her face. The clean lines were essential to give clarity and personality to her figure.

The coloring stage was where Cinella truly started to shine. I chose a vibrant palette dominated by reds and yellows, colors that highlight her identity and contrast perfectly with the blue of the sky in the background.

Next came the shadows, which helped add depth and dimension to the drawing. I played with lighting to accentuate her dynamic pose and the sensation of urgency in the scene.

Adding highlights was a joyful step, as it brought sparkle to her eyes and vitality to her hair. These small details gave the artwork a more expressive and captivating atmosphere.

Finally, I worked on the background, where I built the perspective of the path and the sky filled with robotic ladybugs. This environment not only framed the character but also elevated the entire composition by giving it a story to tell.

El primer paso para dar vida a esta obra fue el boceto. En esta etapa me concentré en capturar la pose de Cinella y la sensación de movimiento que define toda la pieza. Quise que se viera enérgica, casi como si fuera a saltar fuera de la página.

Una vez que el boceto estuvo listo, pasé al delineado. Aquí presté especial atención a definir su silueta, los detalles de su vestimenta y la expresión de su rostro. Las líneas limpias fueron esenciales para darle claridad y personalidad a su figura.

La etapa del coloreado fue donde Cinella realmente empezó a brillar. Elegí una paleta vibrante dominada por rojos y amarillos, colores que resaltan su identidad y contrastan perfectamente con el azul del cielo en el fondo.

Después añadí las sombras, que ayudaron a darle profundidad y dimensión al dibujo. Jugué con la iluminación para acentuar su pose dinámica y la sensación de urgencia en la escena.

Agregar los brillos fue un paso muy divertido, ya que aportó chispa a sus ojos y vitalidad a su cabello. Estos pequeños detalles dieron a la obra un ambiente más expresivo y cautivador.

Finalmente trabajé en el fondo, donde construí la perspectiva del camino y el cielo lleno de mariquitas robóticas. Este entorno no solo enmarcó al personaje, sino que elevó toda la composición al darle una historia que contar.

Creating this fan art of Cinella has been a delightful and exciting journey. I felt a deep connection with the character and enjoyed every step of transforming her into this humanized anime version. Each detail, from her costume to the robotic ladybugs, made me smile throughout the process.

The tools I used for the drawing were the following:

Capacitive pen (Stylus).
