The grass raccoon character has always fascinated me with his adorable appearance and unique design. This anthropomorphic raccoon with anime influenced features is truly charming. Her big expressive eyes are one of the most attention grabbing elements that contribute to her innate tenderness.
In my interpretation, green colors predominate in his fur, combining darker tones and flashes of yellow to create a vibrant and natural effect. I added a leaf pattern on his body, suggesting his vegetal or grassy qualities, which connects him even more with nature.
One of the details I enjoyed most when creating this piece was his fluffy tail, which emits a turquoise glow at the tip, and his ears, which also have a luminous halo. To complete the natural look, he wears a small leaf on his head, a touch that I find charming and reinforces his connection to the environment.
The background of the illustration shows a forest full of tall grasses and trees, enhancing the feeling of being immersed in a natural and magical environment. I wanted to create a scene that transports the viewer to a fantasy world, where the grass raccoon lives his adventures.

El personaje del grass raccoon siempre me ha fascinado por su apariencia adorable y su dise帽o 煤nico. Este mapache antropom贸rfico con rasgos influenciados por el anime es verdaderamente encantador. Sus grandes ojos expresivos son uno de los elementos que m谩s capturan la atenci贸n y contribuyen a su ternura innata.
En mi interpretaci贸n, predominan los colores verdes en su pelaje, combinando tonos m谩s oscuros y destellos de amarillo para crear un efecto vibrante y natural. He a帽adido un patr贸n de hojas en su cuerpo, sugiriendo sus cualidades vegetales o de hierba, lo que lo conecta a煤n m谩s con la naturaleza.
Uno de los detalles que m谩s disfrut茅 al crear esta obra fue su cola esponjosa, que emite un resplandor turquesa en la punta, y sus orejas, que tambi茅n tienen un halo luminoso. Para completar el look natural, lleva una peque帽a hoja en la cabeza, un toque que me parece encantador y que refuerza su conexi贸n con el entorno.
El fondo de la ilustraci贸n muestra un bosque lleno de altas hierbas y 谩rboles, realzando la sensaci贸n de estar inmerso en un entorno natural y m谩gico. Quise crear una escena que transportara al espectador a un mundo de fantas铆a, donde el grass raccoon vive sus aventuras.

Grass Raccoon goes deep into the woods, talks to wildlife and protects natural harmony. His story is a legend that leads him to discover his purpose in this intriguing world.
Su pelaje verde y morado, sus grandes ojos expresivos y su cola luminosa lo hacen destacar. Es curioso, aventurero y tiene una profunda conexi贸n con la naturaleza. Grass Raccoon se adentra en los bosques, habla con la fauna y protege la armon铆a natural. Su historia es una leyenda que lo lleva a descubrir su prop贸sito en este intrigante mundo.
Creating the digital drawing of the grass raccoon was a very rewarding experience, full of details and creativity. I want to share with you the process I followed to bring this adorable character to life.
I started with the sketch, which is always the first fundamental step. I took my graphic tablet and started to draw soft and light lines, looking to capture the essence of the grass raccoon. During this phase, it is crucial to focus on the proportions and pose of the character. I opted for a pose that highlighted his tenderness and playful character. The big eyes and fluffy tail were essential elements from the beginning.
Once I was satisfied with the sketch, I moved on to outlining. Here, I sharpened the lines, making them clearer and more defined. I used a fine digital brush for the contours and took care of every detail, from the luminous ears to the small leaf on the head. This stage requires precision, as it establishes the base on which the colors and effects will be applied.
The next step was the coloring. I decided to use a palette of greens for the grass raccoon's fur, alternating between darker tones and flashes of yellow. I used separate layers for each section of the character, which allowed me to adjust the colors without affecting the rest of the drawing. The leaf pattern on her body was a fun part, adding variations of green to simulate a vegetal look.
Applying shadows and highlights was the phase that really gave depth and life to the drawing. I used soft shadows to create volume and highlight the body shapes, especially in the areas where natural light would touch the character. The shimmers, on the other hand, were applied to the eyes and the tip of the tail, using a bright turquoise color. I also added a luminous halo on the ears, which adds a magical touch to the character.
Finally, I adjusted the last details of the background, making sure that the forest with tall grasses and trees complemented the grass raccoon without distracting from the main character. I wanted the whole scene to have a sense of cohesion and harmony, immersing the viewer in the natural world of the grass raccoon.

Crear el dibujo digital del grass raccoon fue una experiencia muy gratificante, llena de detalles y creatividad. Quiero compartir con ustedes el proceso que segu铆 para dar vida a este adorable personaje.
Comenc茅 con el boceto, que es siempre el primer paso fundamental. Tom茅 mi tableta gr谩fica y comenc茅 a trazar l铆neas suaves y ligeras, buscando capturar la esencia del grass raccoon. Durante esta fase, es crucial enfocarse en las proporciones y en la pose del personaje. Opt茅 por una pose que resaltara su ternura y car谩cter juguet贸n. Los grandes ojos y la esponjosa cola fueron elementos esenciales desde el principio.
Una vez que estuve satisfecha con el boceto, pas茅 al delineado. Aqu铆, afin茅 las l铆neas, haci茅ndolas m谩s claras y definidas. Utilic茅 un pincel digital fino para los contornos y cuid茅 cada detalle, desde las orejas luminosas hasta la peque帽a hoja en la cabeza. Esta etapa requiere precisi贸n, ya que establece la base sobre la cual se aplicar谩n los colores y los efectos.
El siguiente paso fue el coloreado. Decid铆 emplear una paleta de verdes para el pelaje del grass raccoon, alternando entre tonos m谩s oscuros y destellos de amarillo. Utilic茅 capas separadas para cada secci贸n del personaje, lo que me permiti贸 ajustar los colores sin afectar el resto del dibujo. El patr贸n de hojas en su cuerpo fue una parte divertida, agregando variaciones de verde para simular un aspecto vegetal.
Aplicar sombras y brillos fue la fase que realmente dio profundidad y vida al dibujo. Utilic茅 sombras suaves para crear volumen y destacar las formas del cuerpo, especialmente en las 谩reas donde la luz natural tocar铆a al personaje. Los brillos, por otro lado, se aplicaron en los ojos y en la punta de la cola, utilizando un color turquesa brillante. Tambi茅n a帽ad铆 un halo luminoso en las orejas, que aporta un toque m谩gico al personaje.
Finalmente, ajust茅 los 煤ltimos detalles del fondo, asegur谩ndome de que el bosque con altas hierbas y 谩rboles complementara al grass raccoon sin distraer del personaje principal. Quer铆a que la escena completa tuviera una sensaci贸n de cohesi贸n y armon铆a, sumergiendo al espectador en el mundo natural del grass raccoon.
