Hello everyone! I'm Lorentm, and I'm excited to share with you my latest project for the Splinterlands weekly art contest. This time, I decided to reinterpret Endura Brune, a fascinating character, giving her an anime-style twist.
Since I started this fan art, it was clear to me that I wanted to capture the strength and elegance of Endura Brune, but with that vibrant and expressive touch that characterizes the anime. In this illustration, I depicted her in the middle of an intense action, just at the moment when she is about to shoot her arrow. The fluidity of her pose and the dynamism of the scene allowed me to play with the lines and bring her movement to life.
The Endura Brune armor was one of my favorite parts to work on. The blue tones combined with gold details give it that regal feel, while the furry textures on the cuffs bring a duality between fierce and refined. I wanted these details to be true to the character, but at the same time give it my own style, taking care of every shade and shine.
The hair, of course, is a key element. I made it flow backwards, as if the wind accompanied its movement, bringing drama to the scene. For the background, I opted for an autumn landscape, with leaves falling around her. This detail was intentional to create a visual contrast: the warm tones of the environment highlight the cool colors of her armor, and together they achieve a harmonious balance.
This project was not only a technical challenge, but also a way to explore new ways to merge my two great passions: digital art and anime. I'm always excited when I can put a fresh spin on characters that already have a special place in the hearts of gamers.

隆Hola a todos! Soy Lorentm, y estoy emocionada de compartirles mi m谩s reciente proyecto para el concurso semanal de arte de Splinterlands. Esta vez, decid铆 reinterpretar a Endura Brune, un personaje fascinante, d谩ndole un giro al estilo anime.
Desde que comenc茅 este fan art, tuve claro que quer铆a capturar la fuerza y la elegancia de Endura Brune, pero con ese toque vibrante y expresivo que caracteriza al anime. En esta ilustraci贸n, la represent茅 en medio de una acci贸n intensa, justo en el momento en que est谩 a punto de disparar su flecha. La fluidez de su postura y el dinamismo de la escena me permitieron jugar con las l铆neas y darle vida a su movimiento.
La armadura de Endura Brune fue una de mis partes favoritas para trabajar. Los tonos azulados combinados con detalles dorados le dan ese aire regio, mientras que las texturas peludas en los pu帽os aportan una dualidad entre lo feroz y lo refinado. Quise que estos detalles fueran fieles al personaje, pero al mismo tiempo darle mi propio estilo, cuidando cada sombra y brillo.
El cabello, por supuesto, es un elemento clave. Lo hice fluir hacia atr谩s, como si el viento acompa帽ara su movimiento, aportando dramatismo a la escena. Para el fondo, opt茅 por un paisaje oto帽al, con hojas cayendo alrededor de ella. Este detalle fue intencional para crear un contraste visual: los tonos c谩lidos del entorno resaltan los colores fr铆os de su armadura, y juntos logran un equilibrio arm贸nico.
Este proyecto no solo fue un desaf铆o t茅cnico, sino tambi茅n una forma de explorar nuevas maneras de fusionar mis dos grandes pasiones: el arte digital y el anime. Siempre me emociona cuando puedo darle un giro fresco a personajes que ya tienen un lugar especial en el coraz贸n de los jugadores.

The process of creating my Endura Brune fan art was a journey full of details and creative decisions. I started by visualizing the scene in my mind, where the heroine was preparing to shoot her bow in an environment full of energy. With that image clear, the first step was to capture it on canvas through a sketch. I used loose, quick strokes to capture the dynamic pose I wanted to convey, making sure the figure felt natural and full of movement. Sketching is always a key moment, where ideas take shape and proportions begin to define the overall structure of the character.
Once I was satisfied with the base skeleton, I moved on to outlining. Here I focused on refining the contours, giving each element a sharper and clearer finish. I used firm lines for the most prominent parts, such as the bow and the armor, and softer lines for details such as the hair and the autumn leaves in the background. At this stage, I made sure to highlight key elements of the design, such as the gold accents on the armor and the furry textures on the cuffs, which add depth and personality to the character.
With the outline finished, it was time to bring Endura Brune to life through coloring. I chose cool shades of blue for the armor, contrasted with golden details to add a regal and majestic touch. As for the hair, I opted for a color that not only complemented the overall palette, but also highlighted her fluid movement. In addition, the autumnal background with leaves in warm tones added a visual balance between the cool and warm elements of the piece.
After applying the base colors, it was time to add dimension to the work by adding shadows. I focused on the areas where the light would not reach directly, such as the folds of the clothing and the hidden areas under the bow, to give depth and realism to the figure. This process is always exciting because it transforms a flat image into something three-dimensional, making Endura Brune look ready to leap off the canvas.
Finally, I applied the highlights and reflections. Here, small highlights on the armor and hair tips helped bring out the metallic textures and vibrancy of the character. This step is essential to convey a sense of energy and dynamism, and in the case of this fan art, it was what finally gave her that magical touch I was looking for from the beginning.
When finished, Endura Brune not only looked powerful, but also full of life, ready for battle in her universe.
El proceso de creaci贸n de mi fan art de Endura Brune fue un viaje lleno de detalles y decisiones creativas. Comenc茅 visualizando la escena en mi mente, donde la hero铆na se preparaba para disparar su arco en un ambiente lleno de energ铆a. Con esa imagen clara, el primer paso fue plasmarla en el lienzo a trav茅s de un boceto. Us茅 trazos sueltos y r谩pidos para capturar la pose din谩mica que quer铆a transmitir, asegur谩ndome de que la figura se sintiera natural y llena de movimiento. El boceto es siempre un momento clave, donde las ideas toman forma y las proporciones comienzan a definir la estructura general del personaje.
Una vez que estuve satisfecha con el esqueleto base, pas茅 a delinear. Aqu铆 me enfoqu茅 en refinar los contornos, d谩ndole a cada elemento un acabado m谩s n铆tido y claro. Utilic茅 l铆neas firmes para las partes m谩s destacadas, como el arco y la armadura, y l铆neas m谩s suaves para detalles como el cabello y las hojas oto帽ales del fondo. En esta etapa, me asegur茅 de resaltar los elementos clave del dise帽o, como los acentos dorados en la armadura y las texturas peludas en los pu帽os, que agregan profundidad y personalidad al personaje.
Con el delineado terminado, era hora de darle vida a Endura Brune mediante el coloreado. Eleg铆 tonos fr铆os de azul para la armadura, contrastados con detalles dorados que aportaran un toque real y majestuoso. En cuanto al cabello, opt茅 por un color que no solo complementara la paleta general, sino que tambi茅n destacara su movimiento fluido. Adem谩s, el fondo oto帽al con hojas en tonos c谩lidos agreg贸 un equilibrio visual entre los elementos fr铆os y c谩lidos de la pieza.
Despu茅s de aplicar los colores base, lleg贸 el momento de dar dimensi贸n a la obra a帽adiendo sombras. Me concentr茅 en las 谩reas donde la luz no llegar铆a directamente, como los pliegues de la ropa y las zonas ocultas bajo el arco, para darle profundidad y realismo a la figura. Este proceso siempre es emocionante porque transforma una imagen plana en algo tridimensional, haciendo que Endura Brune pareciera estar lista para saltar del lienzo.
Por 煤ltimo, apliqu茅 los brillos y reflejos. Aqu铆, peque帽os toques de luz en la armadura y en las puntas del cabello ayudaron a resaltar las texturas met谩licas y la vitalidad del personaje. Este paso es esencial para transmitir una sensaci贸n de energ铆a y dinamismo, y en el caso de este fan art, fue lo que finalmente le dio ese toque m谩gico que buscaba desde el principio.
Al terminar, Endura Brune no solo se ve铆a poderosa, sino tambi茅n llena de vida, lista para la batalla en su universo.
