Greetings dear community, welcome to my art blog, I hope you all are well. Today I bring you a drawing of one of the most famous construction works of the 20th century, the Sydney Opera House, a state-of-the-art building with a radically innovative and modern design, located in Australia and inaugurated on October 20, 1973 by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Within its walls and shell-shaped dome, all kinds of events are held, from theatre, ballet, opera to musical productions, which has allowed it to become a World Heritage Site.
Saludos querida comunidad, sean bienvenidos a mi blog de arte, espero que todos estén bien. Hoy les traigo un dibujo de una de las obras de construcción más famosas del siglo XX, se trata de la Casa de la Opera de Sídney, es un edificio vanguardista con un diseño radicalmente innovador y moderno, situado en Australia e inaugurado el 20 de octubre de 1973 por su majestad la reina Isabel II, entre sus paredes y cúpula en forma de conchas, se realizan todo tipo de eventos, desde teatro, ballet, ópera o producciones musicales, lo que le ha permitido convertirse en un Patrimonio de la Humanidad.
I loved doing this project, first I designed with soft lines the roof and its structure, I applied flat colors to the building and using layers as a cut out I defined the zones of light and shadows, playing with the method of mixing the different layers, for the background I made a transition of colors from dark blue to light yellow, I drew some clouds and a sun hiding slowly in the horizon, finally and to give you a magic touch to our work I placed the reflection of the building in the waters of Sydney Bay. I will now share with you the development of this drawing. Without further ado, let's get started.
Me encanto mucho realizar este proyecto, primero diseñe con líneas suaves el techo y su estructura, aplique colores planos al edificio y usando capas a modo recorte fui definiendo las zonas de luz y sombras, jugando con el método de mezcla de las diferentes capas, para el fondo realice una transición de colores en azul oscuro a un amarillo claro, dibuje algunas nubes y un sol escondiéndose lentamente en el horizonte, finalmente y para darte un toque mágico a nuestra obra coloque el reflejo del edificio en las aguas de la bahía de Sídney.
