Hello everyone, I'm Lorentm, a digital artist passionate about bringing characters to life through anime-inspired artwork. Welcome to my blog! Today, I'm incredibly excited to share a new piece I created based on one of the characters from the amazing 
Terraox is the evolution of Terrarion, the earth dragon of Holozing. For this fan art, I wanted to give her a fresh twist by creating a female humanized version. Designing this character was an exciting challenge, and imagining what Terraox would look like if she took human form brought a whole new level of creativity to my process.
She radiates strength, fierceness, and the solid will of earth itself. Her design is inspired by rocky terrains and lava-sculpted cliffs, which I鈥檝e tried to reflect in her armor and environment. Working on her allowed me to explore a strong yet elegant warrior vibe鈥攕omeone who controls the very ground beneath her feet.

Terraox es la evoluci贸n de Terrarion, el drag贸n de tierra de Holozing. Para este fan art quise darle un giro interesante al crear una versi贸n humanizada y femenina. Dise帽ar a este personaje fue un reto emocionante, e imaginar c贸mo se ver铆a si adoptara forma humana me abri贸 un mundo de posibilidades creativas.
Ella irradia fuerza, ferocidad y la voluntad s贸lida de la tierra. Su dise帽o est谩 inspirado en terrenos rocosos y acantilados esculpidos por la lava, algo que quise plasmar tanto en su armadura como en su entorno. Trabajar en su dise帽o me permiti贸 explorar una vibra poderosa pero elegante鈥攗na guerrera que controla el suelo bajo sus pies.

The humanized female version of Terraox has a dominant presence. I designed her with long, flowing hair in fiery red tones, reminiscent of magma rivers that snake through the earth鈥檚 crust. Her eyes are sharp and confident, hinting at both wisdom and danger.
She wears an armored bodysuit that resembles scales and rock-like textures, symbolizing her deep connection to earth and durability. The horns on her head remain faithful to her dragon form, as well as the spiked shoulders that enhance her powerful silhouette. The tail is robust and segmented, giving her a more dynamic, draconic presence.
Her gauntlets and boots are designed with claw-like features, emphasizing her beastly origins while keeping her look elegant and battle-ready. Altogether, she鈥檚 a character that feels both majestic and grounded鈥攍iterally and figuratively.
La versi贸n femenina y humanizada de Terraox tiene una presencia imponente. La dise帽茅 con una melena larga y fluida en tonos rojos encendidos, como si fueran r铆os de magma que fluyen por la corteza terrestre. Sus ojos son afilados y seguros, transmiten tanto sabidur铆a como peligro.
Viste un traje de cuerpo completo con una textura similar a escamas y rocas, reflejando su conexi贸n profunda con la tierra y su resistencia natural. Los cuernos en su cabeza hacen honor a su forma de drag贸n, al igual que los picos en los hombros, que realzan su silueta poderosa. Su cola es robusta y segmentada, d谩ndole una presencia drac贸nica m谩s din谩mica.
Sus guanteletes y botas tienen detalles similares a garras, acentuando su origen bestial pero conservando una est茅tica elegante y lista para el combate. En conjunto, es un personaje que se siente majestuoso y terrenal鈥攅n todo el sentido de la palabra.
The journey began with a loose sketch where I explored poses and proportions that would highlight her strength. I wanted her to look grounded, confident, and commanding. Even in the earliest lines, I could feel the power she was meant to embody.
Once the pose was locked in, I moved on to the line art. I kept the lines clean but dynamic, using varying thicknesses to enhance her armor, hair, and facial expression. This step brought more clarity to her design, and she began to take solid shape on my canvas.
Then came the coloring phase. I used a warm earthy palette鈥攄eep reds, oranges, and browns鈥攇iving her that molten-rock aesthetic. Her skin tone contrasts beautifully with her armor, making her features pop while still maintaining harmony in the overall look.
Shading was next, and here鈥檚 where I focused on building depth. I added sharp shadows to accentuate the folds and metallic edges of her armor. The light source was imagined as the setting sun in a volcanic canyon, casting dramatic shadows across her form.
To add more life, I layered in highlights along her hair, armor edges, and eyes. The subtle glow enhanced the sense of heat around her and emphasized her draconic energy.
Lastly, I created a background of towering red rock formations under a golden sky. It felt like the natural habitat for a warrior like Terraox鈥攕olid, ancient, and blazing with earth-born power.
El proceso comenz贸 con un boceto suelto donde explor茅 poses y proporciones que resaltaran su fuerza. Quer铆a que se viera firme, segura y dominante. Incluso en las l铆neas m谩s simples, ya se sent铆a la energ铆a que deb铆a transmitir.
Una vez que defin铆 la pose, pas茅 al delineado. Mantuve l铆neas limpias pero din谩micas, con diferentes grosores para dar 茅nfasis a su armadura, cabello y expresi贸n facial. Este paso me permiti贸 darle claridad al dise帽o, y poco a poco fue tomando forma en el lienzo.
Luego lleg贸 la fase de color. Us茅 una paleta c谩lida y terrosa鈥攔ojos profundos, naranjas y marrones鈥攑ara lograr esa est茅tica de roca fundida. El tono de su piel contrasta de forma armoniosa con la armadura, haciendo que sus rasgos resalten sin romper la coherencia del dise帽o.
Despu茅s pas茅 a las sombras, donde me enfoqu茅 en dar profundidad. A帽ad铆 sombras marcadas para resaltar los pliegues y bordes met谩licos de su armadura. Imagin茅 una luz de atardecer en un ca帽贸n volc谩nico, proyectando sombras dram谩ticas sobre su figura.
Para darle m谩s vida, incorpor茅 brillos sutiles en su cabello, bordes de la armadura y ojos. Ese resplandor tenue realza la sensaci贸n de calor a su alrededor y subraya su energ铆a drac贸nica.
Finalmente, cre茅 un fondo con formaciones rocosas rojizas bajo un cielo dorado. Sent铆 que era el h谩bitat perfecto para una guerrera como Terraox鈥攕贸lido, antiguo y ardiente con el poder de la tierra.
Creating this piece was a truly fulfilling experience. Terraox allowed me to explore both power and elegance in a single character design. Each brushstroke felt like sculpting her out of molten stone鈥攔aw, vivid, and full of energy.
