A special greeting to all the heveans of this ecosystem.
It is Monday and the week has started with a lot of dynamism in the family, inventing at home, creating and in the afternoon we rose to more than 500 meters above sea level in an expedition that took us more than two hours on the way.
It was an adventure to visit the high hills of the Benítez municipality in eastern Venezuela.
History says that these places were battlegrounds in past eras, where General Francisco Antonio Vásquez commanded an army to defend the rights of locals who were subdued by enemy forces.
Join us...
The inactivity due to the quarantine made the walking and climbing process somewhat difficult, immediately our pulsations accelerated and we had to pause for air and rest.
Already distanced from the town, we found a large water tank that was initially supplied with the waters of small springs that emanated from the mountains to supply a population of 7 thousand people.
Our 4-month-old pet is called "Queen", she also accompanied us on this beautiful expedition, a little uneasy because of the height, but a good dessert of mango fruit was her tranquilizer. XD
After enjoying the mango fruit, it was my thrill for me to get some exotic pets and flowers.
These high hills are also the bases of towers that support the great extensions of high voltage electric cables. The sound of the energy running through them is chilling.
In the following image you can see the capital of the Benítez municipality, which in turn is the highest area of all the neighboring towns, however from here it looks very low.
