Nada grave, me dec铆an.
驴Por qu茅 permiti贸 que esto creciera? 驴Qu茅 ver谩n otros?
驴Qu茅 culpa has cargado sin raz贸n?

Pothos on my propyetyy
At 32, with my hazel eyes glistening, I discovered that scars aren't marks of failure鈥攖hey're maps of resilience.
Three months ago, my hands trembled as I removed the bandage. A small pink scar on my neck where a sebaceous cyst had lived for years. Nothing serious, they told me. Just routine surgery. But nothing about me was routine when I saw in that mirror a woman I didn't recognize.
My first instinct was guilt. Why didn't I take better care of my body? Why did I let this grow? What will others see? I carried a responsibility I never asked for: to be perfect, to have no visible flaws, to be "the woman who always looks good." A burden inherited, never chosen.
Then came silence. Two weeks of barely looking at myself. But one morning, something shifted.
While brushing my hair (light chestnut strands falling over my shoulders), I understood something science already knew but my heart needed to feel: our body is a living ecosystem, not an art gallery. Cells regenerate, tissues adapt, scars fade. Neuroplasticity works both ways: as we learn new skills, we can relearn to see ourselves with compassion.
What truly healed was this: I released the responsibility to be acceptable.
Because I lived with unearned guilt. Guilt for my aging body. Guilt for its changes. Guilt for not being what others expected to see. That guilt is a phantom inherited from generations of women who learned their worth lives in their appearance.
That sebaceous cyst wasn't my fault. The scar wasn't either. And why I share this isn't to seek validation (though I'm grateful for it), but because I know many of you are looking in mirrors and finding things that frighten you. Dear ones, that isn't our mirror. It's theirs.
Today, my scar is a compass. It points me toward truth: I am worthy even when imperfect. Especially when imperfect. Soul healing happens when we stop inheriting responsibilities that don't belong to us.
This is my invitation: What scar (visible or invisible) have you been hiding? What guilt have you carried without reason? The Holo Lotus community exists because here we can be real, broken, scarred, and beautiful.
Together, we're stronger.
With pale skin and a fierce soul,
A woman who learned that her imperfections are her permission to live.
