You heard me right, ' save to be poor.' Before you begin to argue with my thesis, let me make you aware that most times what you save is eaten up by inflation. For instance in 2015 you saved $1000 per month up until $2018. Without doubt, you would realize that instead of getting interest from your bank, inflation most definitely must have risen to even 'eat' part of your savings.
The question now is why save for inflation to diminish the fruit of you labour? Why not invest in a project, business?
Moral- Savings should be 40% of your budget and investment 60%.
